As a result of a gift to the College , we are delighted to be able to offer for sale to alumni and friends wines made by Graham Shore (PPE, 1974-1977).
Appearance
Pale white colour.
Terroir
Altitude between 120-140m. Well-drained clay-limestone soil. The predominance of the Mistral (North wind) provides good aeration and natural protection against disease.
Viticulture & Vinification
Our organic viticulture seeks to be in harmony with the earth, with organic fertilisation and minimal use of sprays. The vines have trellising and are pruned using Cordon de Royat. They were not irrigated.
The grapes are hand-picked and fermented with natural yeasts at low temperatures to extract the natural flavours of the grapes.
Aroma
Fresh nose , high floral tone with hints of pear and tropical fruit.
Palate
Fresh, well balanced and round. Peaches/ stone fruits and a hint of nuts and lightly grilled toast.
Mineral and long with a crisp and savoury finish.
Serving suggestions
A wine which will develop and become richer as it ages. Perfect on its own or with chicken, richer fish and seafood and creamy cheeses.

Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Vermentino, Clairette.
